Claude has the largest open connector directory of the three assistants here, and that is exactly why this page does not pretend to list all of it. The directory holds hundreds of listings, exact counts are disputed (more than 200 connectors reported in April 2026, 816 listings counted by one observer in September 2026, and more than 2,000 plugins plus connectors claimed for the Marketplace, which bundles agents and partners too), and an open submission portal adds more constantly. Those three numbers measure different things. This page lists the 69 names that can be tied to an announcement or an Anthropic news page, says how each was verified, and points at the live directory. 01 - How review works
The single most important trust fact about Claude’s directory. Read it before connecting anything.
Anthropic has tested a Verified connector’s tools for quality and compatibility, and it met the Software Directory Policy requirements at the time of review. Anthropic says plainly that verification is not a security audit or a guarantee. The developer operates the connector and controls its tools, which can change after review.
Anthropic screens Community connectors before listing them but has not reviewed them in depth. Claude shows a reminder before connecting. Once connected, a Community connector has the same capabilities and access as any connector you grant. The label affects how a connector is displayed and discovered, not how it functions.
Add any connector that is not in the directory by its URL. Anthropic has not reviewed it. Free plans are limited to 1 custom connector. The server must be reachable over the public internet, because Claude reaches it from Anthropic’s cloud. Trust the developer, review the scopes, and remember tools can change.
Per-entry Verified and Community labels were not verified individually for this page: the directory requires sign-in for a full read, and no signed-in read was possible. Every entry below is therefore labeled Directory, with no tier asserted. Read the tier on the entry in the live directory before connecting. Team and Enterprise owners gate connectors for the organization, members may see a Request flow, and per-conversation toggles plus per-tool Always allow, Needs approval, and Blocked settings control what a connected connector may do. Tools can change after review without resubmission, so a label is a point-in-time fact, not a permanent one.

Evidence tiers, stated plainly: the Top Connectors row comes from a single independent observer’s reading in September 2026. The January 2026 MCP Apps list and the April 2026 consumer wave come from Anthropic statements as reported across multiple outlets, with no primary Anthropic blog URL retrieved for either. The October 2026 financial, life sciences, nonprofit, and Economic Index names come from Anthropic news pages, where the names are verified and per-entry labels are not. Names seen only in single-source secondary lists (Salesforce, Attio, Stripe, Xero, WordPress.com, Supabase, and others) are deliberately not listed here: check the live directory for those. Salesforce via Agentforce 360 was described as coming soon in January 2026 and its current status is unverified, so it is not listed as live. Gaps worth knowing: no smart home, vehicle, or home services connector was verified, no consumer bank or card connector was named, and no X, Twitter, or Instagram posting connector was verified.
No entry below carries a Regional status. No connector-level regional list was found in Anthropic’s docs, and Claude’s own country availability list was not transferred to individual connectors without evidence. Some connectors are inherently regional by vendor market, but none of the 69 names here was verified as such.
03 - Not the directory
Do not merge the two counts, or the two lists.
Agents and products for purchase, and service partners for hire, grouped with connectors and plugins under one storefront title at claude.com/connectors. Committed spend purchasing was reported at launch. The more than 2,000 figure reported for Marketplace bundles plugins, connectors, agents, and partners, and must never be quoted as a connector count.
Builders submit to the Directory, not separately to the Marketplace, through a self-serve portal reported open since September 25, 2026, at claude.ai/directory/manage. Anyone on a paid plan can submit, and on Team and Enterprise an Owner submits. The Marketplace launch itself rests on secondary reporting: no primary Anthropic blog URL was retrieved, so treat its date and figures as reported, not confirmed.
Connectors only. If a listing sells you an agent, a product, or a service partner, it belongs to Marketplace, and it does not belong in the library above.
04 - Beyond the directory
The directory is the reviewed front door. Most of the ecosystem lives past it.
Add any remote MCP server by URL, on any plan, Free limited to 1. The server must be reachable over the public internet. Local desktop extensions (MCPB packages) run only in Claude Desktop and Claude Code, not on web or mobile.
Claude Code accepts any MCP server with claude mcp add or a .mcp.json file, and directory connectors added in claude.ai are available in Code on the same account. Plugins bundle MCP connectors with Agent Skills, commands, hooks, and agents, and install from the directory or a file.
The official MCP Registry, Smithery, Glama, PulseMCP, mcp.so, the Docker MCP Catalog, and the GitHub MCP Registry list hosted MCP servers, and Zapier MCP exposes thousands of apps as one custom connector. A registry listing is not a directory listing, carries no Verified or Community label, and registry counts disagree by tens of thousands, so none is quoted here. Developers can also pass mcp_servers in a Messages API call, a builder route, not an end-user connector.
05 - Questions
Straight answers on review, access, and trust.
A connector links Claude to an outside app or service so Claude can find information there and take actions for you, with your permissions. Find them in Claude under Customize, then Connectors, or through the + menu in a conversation. The same catalog serves claude.ai, Desktop, mobile, Claude Code, and Cowork.
No, and no static page could be. The directory holds hundreds of listings and grows through an open submission portal, so it changes faster than any fixed list. The 69 names below are the ones verified in announcements and Anthropic news pages. For everything else, browse the live directory at claude.com/connectors, where you can filter by category and type and sort by recommended, most popular, trending, newest, or alphabetical.
Because Anthropic has screened it but not run the in-depth functional test. There is no separate application for Verified: Anthropic scans every submission automatically, lists it as Community by default, and may escalate listings flagged as highly useful to Verified review. A Community label is not a warning that a connector is unsafe, and a Verified label is not proof it is secure. Read the label in the live directory before connecting.
